| After months of unrest in my family, my cousin that died in the fall at the age of 7 months may have suffered from muscular dystrophy.Tests are still being conducted to determine the cause of death but there has, thus far, been ample evidence to support this.
A month after Jorga died, another family member had an infant son die within days of his birth, the cause also points to muscular dystrophy.
Tests on the parents of both infants need to be conducted to confirm this. If Amy tests positive as a carrier, most of my family in "child bearing age" will also be tested. If two carries of it have a child, the likely hood of them having a baby with muscular dystrophy is very high.
It's amazing how something that has never surfaced in my family before, may have been there all along and took two lives before we even realized it.
